With 20 years of experience, Tammy is a passionate surf coach who has been a provincial and National Long Boarder. She emphasizes that it’s a fantastic full-body workout—an adventure like no other. After teaching hundreds of people, she knows that you’re never too young or too old to catch your first wave!

Nicky is a multi-talented and resilient woman. She is a qualified ISA Level 1 Surf Coach, a Surfing Judge for competitions in Cape Town and JBay, as well as a Master Hair Extension Stylist. After overcoming brain tumors, she never lost her love for the ocean and believes surfing builds strength, resilience, and self-belief - both in and out of the sea.

Ever since Alfonzo first stepped onto a board over 20 years ago, surfing has been his passion, his escape, and his driving force. He has since become a 3× Protea longboarder and a father of two. He loves sharing the stoke through coaching and finds it incredibly rewarding to help others build confidence and experience how surfing can change lives.

WHAT TO EXPECT in your surf lesson?
Personalised Instruction:
Our lessons are conducted with a maximum ration of 5 people to 1 coach, ensuring personalised attention from our experienced coaches. Larger groups are welcome, simply reach out to us to make arrangements.
Flexible Scheduling:
Each lesson lasts for an hour, starting from the moment you meet your coach. Whether you're an early bird catching the morning swell or chasing the sunset waves, we've got you covered.
Gear Assistance:
Don't have your own surfboard and wetsuit? No problem! Meet your coach at our designated surf store, where they'll assist you in selecting the perfect gear. Alternatively, feel free to come prepared or bring your own equipment.
Beachside Learning:
Our sessions kick off with a comprehensive beachside instruction tailored to your experience level. Beginners will learn the fundamentals of standing up, reading the waves, and ocean safety. For more seasoned surfers, our coaches conduct detailed analyses of your pop-up and stance, identifying areas for improvement.
On-Water Guidance:
After mastering the basics on the beach, it's time to hit the water! Our coaches will accompany you into the surf, providing hands-on guidance to help you catch waves and refine your skills further.
